PARLA DOMUS

For schools, universities and organisations

Parliamentary Learning for Organisations

Give your learners a structured way to explore Parliament, understand civic institutions, and engage with parliamentary learning through Parla Domus.

Independent and politically neutral. Parla Domus is not affiliated with or endorsed by the UK Parliament.

Who it is for

Parliamentary education for groups of learners

Parla Domus explains how the UK Parliament, the Crown and the constitution work. An institutional licence gives a defined group of learners structured access to that learning, so your staff can organise it rather than write it.

Schools and colleges

Support Politics, Citizenship and enrichment with self-guided lessons, quizzes and class challenges.

Universities

Give students a clear grounding in parliamentary institutions alongside degree courses, societies and outreach.

Think tanks and policy institutes

Help staff, interns and fellows understand how legislation and scrutiny work in practice.

Charities and civic programmes

Build parliamentary literacy into public engagement, community and civic education initiatives.

Learners use the existing platform: the 30-lesson House of Lords course, lesson quizzes, progress badges, Ask AI for questions about Parliament, and the Parliament Challenge, a free 60-second quiz.

Institutional licences

Two annual licences

Both run for twelve months. Pay annually, or monthly with a twelve-month commitment.

Commissioned programmes

Need a Programme Designed Around Your Objectives?

From £5,000 per programme

For organisations that want a defined parliamentary education, civic literacy, public engagement or policy-learning programme.

Each programme is scoped individually. We agree objectives, audience, deliverables and a timetable in writing, then confirm a fixed project fee. The starting price is a guide, not a fixed fee for every programme.

    Questions

    Frequently asked questions

    Which organisations can apply?

Any organisation that wants to organise parliamentary learning for a group: schools and colleges, universities, think tanks, charities, civic education and public engagement programmes, and training providers. Individual learners can subscribe directly on parladomus.co.uk.

    How many learners are included?

The Essential Licence covers up to 100 named learners and the Professional Licence up to 500. If you need more, tell us and we will discuss the options.

What is the difference between Essential and Professional?

Both give learners access to the agreed existing Parla Domus content, quizzes and challenges, with standard onboarding and support. Professional covers more learners, is arranged for several agreed classes or cohorts, and adds a recommended learning pathway and a reusable facilitator guide.

Why is the monthly option subject to an annual commitment?

Licences run for a twelve-month term. Paying monthly spreads the cost across that term rather than allowing it to be cancelled part-way. Paying annually costs less overall: £1,500 a year for Essential instead of £1,800 monthly.

Are bespoke content and workshops included?

No. Licences cover the existing platform. Bespoke content, live workshops or teaching, custom development, integrations and bespoke reporting are not included unless agreed separately in writing. Many of these can be scoped as a commissioned programme.

How does a commissioned programme work?

We start with a scoping discussion, then agree objectives, audience, deliverables, timetable and responsibilities in writing, with a project fee. Programmes start from £5,000. Half the fee is paid upfront and half at the agreed milestone or delivery stage.

How do we discuss a licence?

Use the enquiry form on this page or email hello@parladomus.co.uk. We will reply to confirm the details and next steps. Submitting an enquiry does not commit you to anything.

Can the package be adapted to our organisation?

Tell us what you need in your enquiry. Where a change goes beyond a standard licence, we will explain whether it can be agreed separately or delivered as a commissioned programme, and what it would cost.

    Enquire

Talk to us about your organisation

Tell us a little about your learners and what you would like to achieve. We will reply by email to confirm the scope and next steps.

No payment is taken through this form, and an enquiry does not commit you to a licence.
